Fundraising for Scholarships

A portion of the funds generated by this initiative goes towards supporting the Annual Scholarship Award Program of the NAASC Columbia, Maryland Chapter. The contributions we receive enable us to offer scholarships to current Spelman students throughout their studies. These students are located within our chapter’s service area, which encompasses Howard and Montgomery counties. Maryland accounts for a significant percentage of the students at Spelman, making our ongoing support essential and deeply valued by the students, their families, and the administration. Our Chapter not only provides financial aid but also offers steadfast love and encouragement to these students. Our goal is to create a positive impact in their lives, and we can only do this through our fundraising efforts. Thank you once again for your support in purchasing these candles, which were crafted with love for our alma mater, a deep affection for our Spelman sisterhood, and a commitment to helping more Spelman women achieve their dreams.
